I know it might not have been very clear, but the idea is that whenever the player has to choose a direction, the mouse cursor changes to a hand icon to indicate interactable choices. Thats why MJ says to Crow to ''show the way''.. I tried to match each option with a selectable/clickable area that fits the description. (Later I plan on updating everything, but rn I don't have much time to work on but later update it will be more understandable visually too.)

For example, the first three main options are (if I remember correctly): the lake, the main road, or a side path. Later on, based on your earlier choice, two more roads become available — one with tire tracks (suggesting it's used by cars) and another side path.
